If you are - like me - owner of a digital still camera, you might have been annoyed about this meaningless filenames
That is why I sat down to my computer, pursued to my passion, programming, and developed the tool PhotoAd. With this programm it is easily possible to rename numbered camera-specific files to numbered files with a useful prefix.
You only have to choose the directory, in which the files are stored, select the found old prefixes from a list and give the files a new prefix. PhotoAd automatically changes the filenames and numbers it from a given starting number on, or adds them to an existing file-series. That´s it.
